Class info

Gi Jiu Jitsu is a great class to learn Grappling/Ground Techniques in the tradition with a kimono.  You will learn throws, takedowns, wrestling, Grip fighting, Joint locks/Submissions.

No Gi Jiu Jitsu is very similar to Gi Jiu Jitsu, It’s just a little bit faster paced. The attire is a rash guard and shorts specifically made for BJJ. You will learn a lot of fundamental and advanced wrestling. Sweeps, How to recover from scrambles, Chokes, joint locks, Foot sweeps, etc.  Some people say this is a young man’s game, but it truly is an art form for all ages.

The basics/beginner series of classes created by head coach and founder Professor Rudy Rexx Canales is focused on situational/positional work, and step by step technique. It is led by fundamental body movements, on topic warm-ups, technique, goal-driven games and situational sparring. All levels can take this class, but is geared for people working towards building and sharpening the fundamentals.

Muay Thai is offered three days a week, Our instructors with 30 years combined experience. And often times this class is substituted with Sanda. Another beautiful, striking art form that includes clenching, elbow strikes, knee, strikes, kicks, and wrestling takedowns.
