
Rodolfo “Rude Rexx” Canales
Rodolfo “Rudy Rexx” Canales started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2005 with Sean Cooper. After his second year of training Rudy started assisting w/Muay Thai class and teaching jiu jitsu full time at Cooper MMA (Gi and No Gi) He was awarded Faixa Preta/Black belt in October 2014 by Sean Cooper and Cleber Luciano.
Rudy started his competitive journey in 2006 winning tournaments for American Grappling Federation, NAGA, and other Texas organizations at all levels including advanced. He has had the honor of doing superfights for Fight to win and Sub FC. Rudy spent 20 years competing nationally and internationally with his bboy crew Havikoro, which he credits as a big help to jiu jitsu agility, conditioning and athleticism.
Although he enjoys competing, he spends more time developing students of all backgrounds and goals. Rudy has learned from many legends of the sport and continues his education with many active competitors and professors of all affiliations.
Rudy is extremely proud to represent Shoyoroll and Albino and Preto family. A proud father of two beautiful children Dorian and Noemi and loves playing drums.
